FIRST Tech Challenge 2024-2025 Season - Wednesday

• PLEASE NOTE: This team is currently full for new students for the 2024-2025 season. Any new students who apply will be placed on our waiting list for the 2025-2026 season. Space may be available on our Tuesday FTC Team, and we encourage you to add your name to the waitlist for that team as well.

• Team meeting every Wednesday 5:30 - 9:00 pm June-April (holidays excluded) and 1 additional meeting/week during competition season (times & days chosen based on when students are available)

• Robot Work Days 2-3 Saturdays/month 10:00 am - 4:00 pm September - February

• Full Day Scrimmages & Competitions (2 Saturdays in November, 1 Saturday in December, 3 Saturday tournaments in January and February)

• Team Outreach Events and Fun Field Trips (3-4/ month June - August, 1/month September - May)

• Early Engineers Meetings the 4th Friday of each month (Our team helps lead these meetings as part of our outreach - see dates on Early Engineers page)

• Full Day Kick Off (Saturday, September 7, 2024)

• Broomfield Robotics Club Annual Celebration April 27, 2025 3:00-5:00 pm

• Optional FIRST Lego League Meetings (Team members can choose to be Student Mentors as part of our outreach, but must commit to regular meeting attendance)

Download and complete a Participation Agreement & Release of Liability, and Medical History Form

for each student before continuing with registration. (You will be asked to upload these completed forms as part of the registration process.

UPDATE AS OF JULY 15, 2024: If your student is interested in participating in the future, please add him/her to the waitlist. Waitlists are taken into consideration when planning teams for future seasons, and families on the waitlist will be invited to participate in other opportunities within Broomfield STEM such as camps or special workshops while they wait.

PLEASE NOTE: Students are selected off the waitlist based on the current and upcoming grade and gender balances of the teams, enrollment of other siblings or parent mentors in the program, and length of time on the waitlist.
