Friday teams - 2024-2025 Season

In the SUBMERGED^℠ challenge, launching August 6, 2024, FIRST LEGO League teams will use creative thinking and LEGO^® technology to explore the layers of the ocean and bring their learning and ideas to the surface as they “sea” into the future.

Time Commitment:

• Team meeting every Friday 6:00 - 8:00 pm July 12th - December 13, 2024, then the second and fourth Fridays in January - April, 2025.
  

• 2 hour Work Sessions every Sunday 3:00-5:00 pm August through November.

• Full Day Competition - 1 Scrimmage in October, 1 Saturday tournament in November, and the second Saturday in December if team qualifies for State tournament

• 1-2 Field Trips each semester

• Broomfield Robotics Club Annual Celebration Sunday, April 27, 2025 3:00-5:00 pm

  UPDATE AS OF JULY 15, 2024: At this time our Friday FLL Challenge Teams are completely full for the 2024-2025 season. If your student is interested in participating in the future, please add him/her to the waitlist. Waitlists are taken into consideration when planning for future seasons, and families on the waitlist will be invited to participate in other opportunities within Broomfield STEM such as camps or special workshops while they wait.

• PLEASE NOTE: Students are selected off the waitlist based on the current and upcoming grade and gender balances of the teams, enrollment of other siblings or parent mentors in the program, and length of time on the waitlist.
